Introduction
Himachal Pradesh’s name predates its reputation for offering adventurous trekking trails. One such excellent route that has been loved by many veterans and makes for a great learning experience for amateurs is Humpta His Pass His Trek in the Himachal region of the Great Mountains.
A small but very important thoroughfare that connects the valleys of Lahore, Spiti, and Kullu, Humpta Pass brings explorers closer to the rustic and rustic charm of the Pir Panjal range. One of the best treks is Humpta Pass Trek.
Humpta Pass Trek
Humpta Pass is a trail that will bring you back to yourself. Each time I return with my heart full, I am less than satisfied with the beauty of the hike. The Humpta Pass Trek is 4,230 meters (14,100 feet) in elevation, but is moderately difficult and only 25-26 kilometers in total. The entire trip can be completed in a 5-day trek, including a trip to the crescent-shaped Chandrathar Lake. The walking and climbing time is within 16-17 hours, excluding eating, resting, and driving time.
Like most hiking trails in Himachal Pradesh, the base camp of the Humpta Pass is accessible by car from Manali. Jobra, a small village where the trek to the pass begins, is about 20 kilometers from Manali, and from 1.5 hours he can be reached in 2 hours. The best and easiest way to reach Manali is via Delhi, regardless of your transportation choice.
From Delhi, There are several Air India flights from Manali at Bunta Airport to the nearest runway. It is about 52 kilometers from Manali and can be reached by hired taxi or state bus. Airplanes also fly from Chandigarh to Bunta, but less frequently and less frequently than from Delhi.
However, the more convenient mode of transportation preferred by most trekkers is the road.
There are many other buses that go straight to Manali, day or night. There are state-run buses with the last departure at 8:30 pm and the more luxurious Volvo buses that operate from 5 am to 11 pm. Road trips are readily available from major cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, Dharmshala, Dalhousie, Hardwar, and Dehradun.
Once in Manali, a two-hour drive takes you through 42 hairpin turns and the winding Rani Nala River through the glittering Kullu Valley to experience the natural beauty you can expect from a trek. The drive will take you to Jobra, where an exciting hiking experience through the beautiful landscape of Pirpanjal will begin. The road from Jobra to Chika, the first campsite, takes you through a lush wilderness dotted with birch, maple, and birch trees.
A night under the stars presented by Chika is one of his best trekking experiences. The next day offers an amazing change in terrain as the first half offers open pastures, green pastures, and riverbanks with hilly shepherds here and there grazing their cattle. However, the second half before reaching Bar Ka Gera is sandy and much drier. The next day offers a challenging climb through potentially snowy areas and finally reaching the gateway to the Humpta Pass.
The panoramic view from the top of the pass is a unique and unparalleled feast for the eyes as the Lahore Valley reveals all of its endless beauty. The snow-capped crown of Mount Indrasan soars among other smaller peaks, and beyond it peeks Deo Tiba Peak, playing hide-and-seek with the clouds.
Going down is much more dangerous than going up. The descent from the end to his second stop, Shea Goru, is often steep, rocky and quite narrow. Once that barrier is overcome, a short excursion to Lake Chandrathar awaits before dropping you off at your final stop in Chatur

Humpta Pass Trek in May
Even in May, there is a fair amount of snow on the way. Most groups have been doing this hike since next month, but if you’re ready to travel in May, there are a few things you should prepare for.
